Dear Claire – the gorgeous lampshades arrived at 12.30 yesterday and I was just blown away! They are beautiful. I love the colour – perfect. You might have felt the colour was quite heavy for such small shades, but the lamps are quite tall and the shades perch on top, so the darker colour balances the whole. They are so exquisitely made – it must have taken ages. I really appreciate all the trouble you took to get them looking so special. I will of course send you a photograph in due course – I am not digitalized! A thousand thanks yet again for everything. Best wishes Morag

Bespoke Lampshade: I’m really delighted with my first bespoke lampshade from Shades of Elegance! With the particular lamp base, Claire was able to thoughtfully suggest the correct style and height for my lamp without actually seeing it, and apply my chosen fabric.

Replacement Silk Shades: I’m delighted with my matching silk shades made especially to replace some New Year’s damage! Claire was extremely helpful in tracking down the exact colour match.

Bespoke Lampshade: We used Shades of Elegance to make a large lampshade to our design. Could not find any other company who would take on the work but this company did and were very efficient in manufacturing it. Would definitely recommend this company.

Lampshades: I have commissioned several lampshades from Shades of Elegance, in different styles and colours. I have been quite delighted with the results in every case. There is a big range to choose from and the quality is excellent. Claire Black who runs the company is very helpful with advice on colour and trims if needed.

We have used Shades of Elegance on several occasions where clients require specific, bespoke lampshades to compliment our design schemes. They have always been efficient and the shades beautifully made and finished. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Lampshades: I had 5 wall light shades covered to match my colour scheme. Excellent service. I was very pleased with the results and I recommend the company.
